Piping. While both Ottomans smoothly glide forward & backward, the Luca Ottoman includes piping that you can customize; the Gliding Ottoman has no piping.
The Luca Ottoman can hold up to 350lbs. However, please keep in mind that it does glide; never stand on it. For an ottoman that can double as a seat, choose our Stationary Ottoman.

"Much like the Luca glider, I'm very pleased with my purchase. I appreciate the scale, aesthetic and craftsmanship of Monte products. My only hang-up with this particular ottoman (and it wouldn't deter me from buying it again) is that it is a bit clumsy to move around because of the gliding base. Had Monte offered a stationary Luca ottoman, I probably would have opted to purchase it instead for ease of repositioning in a small nursery."

One improvement i would suggest is to have the neck part of the glider more ergonomic or slanted, since it is so straight, after a long time on the glider, the neck becomes stiff and uncomfortable."
