We wanted to design a chair with the softest cushions possible, without sacrificing support. Made for you to sink right into, the Como Glider is extra soft & sumptuous. With its calming & soothing glide, super soft back & seat cushions (both removable & reversible), & beautifully tailored arms, this is the perfect chair to glide & unwind in for hours.

Named after Lake Como in Italy — a gorgeous and relaxing destination — just like the chair.

While similar in comfort, the main difference is that the Vera seat is 2” wider & 2” deeper than the Como. The Como has straight, tailored arms, while the Vera has gently sloped arms.

Yes! Both the seat & back cushions can be removed. The covers can be zipped off, turned inside out & machine washed in cold water; lay flat to dry.

Yes! Our Matera is made to be sumptuously soft with a reclining feature. Or choose our Grano for a beautifully tailored recliner. Both these recliner-gliders are slightly smaller than the Como.

This chair is a life-saver and there isn’t any micro-plastic in the upholstery!

Great chair for nursing

"This chair is very comfy and a good size (not too big) for a nursery. The only thing that is slightly annoying is that the back pillow does not have velcro to attach it to the chair, so sometimes it falls down. Otherwise a great piece of furniture."

The Best Nursery Chair

"My husband and I did a lot of research across various stores to find the right nursery chair for us. We knew we'd both be spending a lot of long nights in it with our first baby and we kept coming back to the Como Glider. It is the most comfortable chair we own, and it did help with relieving pregnancy back pains too with the lumbar support. Q&A

How can we clean or disinfect the pillow since it doesn't have a removable cover?
You can spot clean any areas of the your lumbar pillow with soap and water. If you'd like a more deep clean you can consult a professional upholstery cleaner, or wash the pillow on a hand wash cycle in cold water, do not put in the dryer.
How can you clean the cushion covers?
The seat and back cushion covers are removable and washable, you can spot clean following steps listed here: https://montedesign.ca/pages/caring-for-fabrics or put them in the washing machine on a delicate handwash cycle in cold water & lay flat to dry.
Is the white fabric the same material as the pebble grey? it seems the white is more suede like?
